Cascade Health Alliance donates equipment to Klamath Basin Senior Citizens' Center

Cascade Health Alliance donated more than $5,000 worth of surplus medical equipment to the Klamath Basin Senior Citizens' Center in November.
The equipment and storage shelves were delivered to the Senior Center by Cascade Health Alliance (CHA) staff.
The supplies will give community members access to necessary medical equipment. The donated equipment includes various bariatric items such as walkers, bath benches, transfer benches, commodes, and wheelchairs.
CHA will no longer dispense medical equipment through its office. Patients with a doctor's prescription can receive these items through other local medical equipment providers contracted with CHA.
CHA will continue to provide canes, standard-size walkers, shower chairs, transfer benches and bedside commodes from its office.
