Klamath Falls, OR— Cascade Health Alliance (CHA) is honored to receive a grant from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to help Klamath Falls residents get better care access. The joint effort supports community members in the Systems of Care Network, which aids youth and families with complex and significant health and social needs.
This program will also offer an additional lifeline for people struggling with current technology access. Funding from OHA will increase professional development opportunities for Peer Wellness and Peer Support Specialists, as well as support distribution of Hotspot and/or Cellphone access for members within the System of Care. The funding from this grant will expand the reach of current efforts to assist every family in need.
“We are grateful to OHA for this award. The grant will enable us to continue to collaborate with our partners and look for ways to enhance our local System of Care governance and ability to address identified gaps and needs to serve our youth and families in need,” says Tayo Akins, President and CEO of Cascade Health Alliance.
