CASCADE HEALTH ALLIANCE AND ATRIO HEALTH PLANS DONATE $15,000 TO KLAMATH TRIBES RELIEF FUNDS

ATRIO Health Plans and Cascade Health Alliance (CHA) announced today a donation of $15,000 to The Klamath Tribes Coronavirus Relief Fund. The Klamath Tribes will direct these funds to support tribal members who have been negatively impacted by the recent virus pandemic.

“As COVID-19 continues to spread throughout our communities, we want to provide assistance to those organizations serving the critical needs of people who have suffered as a result,” said Wendy Edwards, President, ATRIO Health Plans. Tayo Akins, President and CEO of CHA, states “We’re pleased to be partnering with The Klamath Tribes to support their efforts to address the pressing food security, housing, transportation and other important needs of our community members.”

“We’re pleased to receive this generous donation on behalf of the many members of our community who are experiencing hardships in their lives caused by the COVID-19 virus,” said Lahna Lilly, Director, Klamath Tribal Health and Family Services. “The Klamath Tribes is working diligently to keep our Peoples and communities safe and secure during this pandemic. This donation will help us support the needs of our members directly impacted by COVID-19, particularly those requiring emergency assistance.”
